Business Broker/M&A Advisor

General Position & Opportunity Description  

$150,000+/- a year (for successful brokers after 1 to 2 years, depending on broker efforts).  Upside potential is unlimited!

     TN Business Brokers Group, LLC (TBBG) is a leading provider of full-service business brokerage and M&A advisory services, headquartered in TN but also serving the adjacent states. We are an independently owned and operated business, though we are connected to other brokerage firms, private equity groups, and investors around the world. All business brokers offered positions with TN Business Brokers Group, LLC will join as Independent Contractors. They are not employees. All Brokers are expected to be professionals with over 15 years of financial, management, leadership, consulting, operations, service, sales and negotiating experience. 

Training
     TBBG will provide onboarding training as well as ongoing guidance to both new and experienced brokers, but all new and experienced brokers are also expected to regularly provide themselves with ongoing training through IBBA, M&A Source and other online, webinar and in person courses and conferences. All Brokers are consultants on a rolling one-year basis with renewable contracts annually but subject to termination based on performance (refer to ICA).

Instead of jet setting across the globe, you can spend all of your time in the Tennessee area, which means more time for your family, friends, and community, all while still maintaining the high-income level that comes with Corporate America. 
 
THIS IS A 100% COMMISSION BASED POSITION WITH UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL. 
Position Description: 
Business Brokerage: You will build relationships with small and medium-sized business owners and help them prepare their business to be confidentially listed. Once the business is listed you will be the transaction manager for the buyer screening, due diligence, and closing process. 
We have a team-based approach to the business and will work together on many transactions. 
While you will operate as an entrepreneur, TN Business Brokers Group, LLC will provide a multitude of support functions to help drive your sales success, including, but not limited to marketing and lead generating tools and sites, some administrative support, initial training, and team-based selling and client support. 

Skills and Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree is preferred in accounting, business, or law. 

 The ideal candidate already has a large Middle TN network of referral partners in the areas of law, business, banking, accounting, and business consulting and has their owner “book of business” of former clients from operating in business for over 15 years. 

Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, Business Brokerage, Franchising, Franchise Ownership, Insurance Sales, Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking, Real Estate, Financial Advisor, CPA, CFP, Attorney, Small Business Owner, Project Management, General Management, Small Business Owner, Executive, Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management and Development, Information Systems, and Commercial Real Estate. 

If the Broker would like the opportunity to sell real estate that is associated with a business sale, that Broker needs to obtain a real estate license or be willing to refer that portion of the sale to another TN Business Broker who holds a real estate license.   

* Competency in contact management, email, Dropbox, Excel, PDF, Power Point and Microsoft Office is helpful. 
Go getter mentality with a high sense of urgency and the ability to provide a high level of customer service while building and maintaining lasting relationships with customers. 
Ability to solve problems independently and creatively. 
Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing deals, clients, and prospects. 
Absolute discretion in handling and communicating with clients and prospects. 
* High degree of honesty and integrity and ability to keep information confidential. 
* Ability to self-manage and project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust. 
* Attention to deal and process management. Highly organized.

We are a relationship focused business that does good deals for good people. Reputation is key. A job well done will lead to numerous additional quality leads. The greatest lead source is from a former client. 

Job Type: Commission → A broker's success is entirely up to themselves. 

Potential: $150,000.00+/- per year after the first 3 deals have successfully closed and broker has a minimum of 6 highly qualified new listings on a rolling basis.
